Meditation Classes

When are they on?                                                                                  
Kinesiologist Gail Medland runs classes at Springwood Wellness Centre on:

 

Monday nights from 7:30pm to 8:30pm .

 

What can I expect?

Gentle, peaceful music is played in the background, while Gail takes you on a guided journey.

The meditation evening begins with 7 slow deep breaths, then bringing in some white light through the crown chakra, taking it all the way down to the feet.....then Gail gently guides you in filling your body with this white light inside and outside.  Then the heart centre is opened, by imagining a beautiful green light shining out of the heart chakra on the front and back of the body.

After this process, Gail talks you through 2 to 3 guided meditations, leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed by the end of the evening.

 

How much are the classes?
They are just $10 per class - and first class is for FREE!!



Where are the classes? 
The evening classes
are held at Springwood Wellness Centre .

 

Should I arrive early?                                                                                                                                                                      
Yes ! Please arrive 10 mins prior to the class starting to settle into your space to gain maximum relaxation from your class.                          

Do we sit or lie down?                                                                                   
Gail is teaching how to meditate most effectively, so in these classes you sit either on a chair, or if you prefer, you can sit on a yoga mat on the floor.                                                                             

What should I bring? 
A bottle of water, a pillow/cushion, a yoga mat if you prefer to sit on the floor  and a notebook, if you wish to take notes or journal what has happened in your meditation.
