Philosophy/Vision

My aim is to provide a caring confidential and supportive environment where my clients can feel secure discussing their concerns.

I have a passion for working with people walking beside them as they travel the path towards healing self discovery and the achievement of their goals. My work is enriched by a wealth of lifetime experiences and professional training.

I believe that with guidance and encouragement every individual has the ability to heal themselves and create a peaceful and meaningful existence. My aim is to empower people through increased self esteem, decision making skills and education.

A client may bring to counselling not only concerns, anxieties, worries and fears, but also hopes, strengths, insights, resources and talents both discovered and to be discovered. As a counsellor I wish to contribute empathy, compassion, understanding, patience and respect which is underpinned by extensive professional training. Together each session will be for you, a co-creation of a safe space where fresh insights, changed perspectives, creative ways of thinking, effective problem solving skill, enhanced inner peace and renewed sense of self wait to be discovered.

My belief is that every person is blessed with a multitude of gifts and talents. The potential is always there, just waiting to be awakened. The cue may come as a perplexing coincidence or an exciting encounter. Or it may be presented through a difficult situation or an unexpected misfortune. Whatever form it may take, what we do with the experience in this moment of our journey is what matters. As we take individual steps, we also touch upon other people’s lives and contribute to the direction of our collective future.
